Creative Direction: Americana charm meets modern minimalism
The Project:
BB FOLK is a modern general store in Cleveland, Ohio. They wanted a visual identity that felt like the store itself: a little retro, a little modern, a place where old-school charm meets clean design.
BB FOLK is a modern general store in Cleveland, Ohio. They wanted a visual identity that felt like the store itself: a little retro, a little modern, a place where old-school charm meets clean design.
Approach:
I leaned into folk-inspired typography, earthy colors, and custom illustrations.
Their dog, Buster Brown, became the face of the brand, and the owners’ lucky charms turned into playful, one-of-a-kind icons. The goal was to create a brand system that felt timeless but not stuck in the past.

Deliverables: Branding, logo & asset creation, color & type, icon design, social media assets
